Message from the Bermuda Run Garden Club President

For the Love of Flowers-
Looking Within and Reaching Out

Dear Garden Club Members,

I am delighted to be President of Bermuda Run Garden Club on this
our 35th anniversary. I joined this Club in August of 2000 and
served as Garden Club President in 2004-2007. This is the finest
group of women I have ever been associated with. Our Club is an
important part of our Community and all for the love of flowers
Lindawe reach within ourselves to discover our gifts and talents and
then reach out to our Community to make it a better place to live.

I am excited to see our year unfold in the many projects we
participate. We help with the beautification of our community by
maintaining the lovely pots at the Post Office. We also have an
Annual Geranium Sale which encourages people to buy Geraniums
that not only makes our community prettier but provides much
needed funds to be able to reach out with projects as The Storehouse
for Jesus, the Exceptional Children’s Thanksgiving Lunch at the
Club and Senior Center Bouquets for Meals on Wheels. I am
wondering if we will be able to add another person willing to be a
“Lunch Buddy” for a child in elementary school.
I can’t wait to see how many people come to our Shredding events,
which provides a service and encourages recycling and also
provides funds for our projects. I can’t wait to see what our table
arrangements will look like for The Storehouse for Jesus Luncheon,
The Crosby Breakfast, and for the Derby Dinner for Bermuda Run
Cares..

This will be another great year for Bermuda Run Garden Club. We
will be having some terrific programs, field trips, and projects
which will enable each of us to look within ourselves, share our
gifts and talents and reach out to each other and our community
all for the love of flowers.
